We visited Winter Word Festival yesterday and today. It was very much fun to meet some of my fellow members of the Strömstad Photo Club. Judit likened us to a group of sharks, hunting in a pack Here are some of the photos I took… [Gallery not found] I have a plan. My plan is to go through my old camera bags and find the flashes I have, but haven’t used for ages. Since I got my 50 mm lens many years ago I didn’t have to use the flash to get enough light, and I very much liked the natural light I should really try to bring my camera with me more often when I go to work. This week I have the late pass, which means I start at 9 and finish at 5, which is just perfect right now for catching morning sun and sunset. I saw a really stunning sunset yesterday, but Weird week with several meetings cancelled due to colleagues and suppliers calling in sick. Well well, it’s the flu season I guess. I already had the “infamous” flu in the fall (and took the vaccine, just in case), so I’m hoping I won’t have any problems this spring, although it is supposedly not supposed I’ve entered a few competitions recently, hoping to have a chance at winning myself a new camera, since I’m in a situation now regarding my current camera where I’m a bit uncertain. I have a Pentax K10D which I won in a competition a few years ago, and with it I use my “old” …how my photos turn out when I use my 80-200mm lens. It’s by far the cheapest lens I have, and it shows. I have to pull the photos down to 800 pixels width before they start to look halve descent… It’s not about the zoom-range, or the maximum aperture, it’s just basically not a |
