Yesterday I got some of the studio-things I ordered, which was; a paper background mount (2,8 meters wide), 2 flash tripods and 1 umbrella. So far so good, but (and of course there has to be a but); the paper background (which the transport company, DHL, had to deliver to another service point 1 I brought my camera with my 50mm F1.4 out for a walk with the dogs today. Most of the photos turned out ok, but nothing special. One of them caught my eye though. When I came home I looked at it closer, and realized it needed a few minutes work in lightroom to convey So, where were we? Oh yes, lighting sources are sorted (two of my old flashes). Now comes the next part; Backgrounds Most people consider a photo studio to be a place where there is at least one background. Natural light has so far been my favourite, and I’ve learned to make interesting photos with it. However, with a studio setup you can “paint” more with light and create lighting that can be I decided to make a little change in how I store my images from now on. Since I’ve been using using Lightroom 3 for some months now I see how good noise reduction can be applied, which makes me think about some old photos I deleted because I deemed them too noisy.
